ORBIT: AI 911 Dispatch Response System
Overview
ORBIT - An AI-driven emergency dispatch platform that transforms voice calls into structured incident tickets and routes the right responders quickly. Current deployment is private and not publicly accessible.
What Users Can Do
- Report Incidents: Report emergencies through AI-assisted voice workflows that capture transcript, location, and caller metadata.
- Monitor Incidents: Monitor live incidents in an admin console with mapped responder positions and real-time status updates.
- Dispatch Services: Approve and dispatch police, fire, and ambulance services through automated outbound dispatch workflows.
Why I built this
I built this platform to solve a fundamental issue I faced while studying:
- Fragmented emergency intake systems that slow down incident triage.
- Delayed coordination between analysis, decision-making, and responder dispatch.

After Launch and Impact
- Built a complete AI-assisted emergency dispatch workflow from call intake to responder assignment.
- Established real-time incident and responder visibility for faster admin decision-making.
- Integrated voice AI, LLM analysis, and geospatial dashboards into one operational platform.
- Improved understanding of event-driven workflows, webhook processing, and production-minded dashboard UX.
Future Plans
- Add richer incident analytics and responder performance insights.
- Improve dispatch reliability with retry and escalation strategies.
- Extend role-based access controls for multi-agency operations.
- Add simulation and training mode for dispatch operator onboarding.
