ACM Infuturum 4.0: A Cinematic Event Landing Experience
Overview
ACM Infuturum 4.0 is an immersive event website for ACM Bennett University that showcases multi-track competitions, schedule, registration flow, and event FAQs.
What Users Can Do
- Explore all major events through an interactive auto-scrolling event cards section.
- Track the event timeline across Day 1, Day 2, and Day 3 activities.
- Use the FAQ section to understand registrations, eligibility, and event details quickly.
- View countdown timer and cinematic hero/video sections for the complete event experience.
Why I Built This
I built this platform to solve fundamental issues I faced while promoting and organizing technical events:
- Event information was fragmented across posters, chat groups, and separate announcements.
- Participants needed one immersive, clear, and fast place to discover events and register.
Tech Stack
- Next.js
- TypeScript
- React
- Tailwind CSS
- Framer Motion
- Shadcn UI
- Radix UI
After Launch & Impact
- Created a unified event destination for competition discovery, schedule visibility, and participant onboarding.
- Improved clarity of communication with one structured platform covering hero messaging, timeline, and FAQs.
- Enabled scalable event showcasing through reusable data-driven cards and section components.
- Strengthened frontend implementation experience around animation, responsiveness, and media-heavy design.
Future Plans
- Project completed and live, but I plan to add more interactive elements and optimize performance further based on user feedback.
